AVONA UAB is a member of Lithuanian Builder Association and a member of Lithuanian Roofers’ Association, a participant in “The Best Roofing” competition and a prize winner, a participant in the national competition for the quality prize. In 1998, the company was awarded the 3-rd prize in the “The Best Aligned Roof 1998” competition for roof renovation for KTU (the Kaunas University of Technology) department of Electronics. In 2001 the company won the first prize in the “The Best Iron Roofing 2001” competition for roof reconstruction for Kaunas Officers’ Club.

In 2002, C. Zabarauskas, the Managing Director of AVONA UAB, was awarded an acknowledgement by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania A. Brazauskas for contribution to the development in Lithuania’s construction field. The number of company’s employees reaches 120, they are highly qualified construction specialists and experienced construction engineers. All professionals are certified by adequate attestation institutions of the Republic of Lithuania. Certified specialists of high expertise are managing construction of the objects. The company employs high-qualified finishing specialists who are able to install architecturally sophisticated interiors and facades. Wooden doors, windows and other wood items of various kinds are manufactured in the company’s workshop. The company has stocked up productive equipment for construction process and a considerable amount of mechanization devices of slight degree.

In 2000, to maintain company’s competitive ability, to improve quality of performance and to increase effectiveness in the activity, a quality management system was implemented according to LST EN ISO 9001: 2000 standard. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 9001: 2000 quality standard. The certificate (registration Nr. 15 100 11208) confirms that AVONA UAB has implemented the quality management system in the following: construction, repair, restoration, internal and external plumbing work and post-construction activities.

The quality management system of AVONA UAB is based on quality inspection that consists of client requirement analysis, establishment of quality level, planning of expenses for improvement in quality, making a list for quality improvement measures and monitoring how the measures are being taken for quality improvement.
